| Abstract |
In this study, after first introducing geological setting of the Menderes Massif and Büyük Menderes graben, problems encountered in overpressured geothermal reservoirs found in this region are briefly investigated. Then, selection criteria for reinjection wells after the injection tests are presented, and reinjection experience for more than three years is submitted. Moreover, results of modelling studies are presented, and reinjection strategies are developed for the full exploitation of field in the future. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are reported. |
