| Abstract | Within this study, data from a fibre optic distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) survey in a magmatic geothermal environment is presented. Therefore, a 180 m long fibre optic cable was installed behind the anchor casing of a conventional geothermal well. In addition, data was acquired along a 15.3 km long cable deployed at the surface. DAS data was acquired continuously for 9 days. During the recording period both, signals from on- and offshore explosive sources as well as natural seismic events could be recorded. First results will be presented. |
