| Abstract | Exploration drilling began at Ohaaki October 1965 following the completion of production drilling at Wairakei. After drilling some 32 wells by 1976 investigations were deemed sufficient to have proven energy potential to generate 120 . This paper reviews some aspects of the drilling during this period with particular reference to the drilling problems. |
