| Abstract | Indonesia is one of the largest geothermal potential in the world, as well as its installed capacity. The potential geothermal of Indonesia about 28,000 MW distributed in 299 potential spots from western to eastern of Indonesia. Current installed capacity of geothermal power plants in Indonesia is 1341 MW distribute in 9 locations across the nation, Increase of more than 150 MW compared in year 2010. Indonesian targeting develop up to 9,500 MW geothermal power plant install capacity in year 2025, expected to contribute for 5% of the national energy mix target. The production of electricity from geothermal power plants in Indonesia in 2013 amounted to 9332.32 GWh and expected to contribute at 66112.62 GWh in year 2025. In this paper we will calculate the emission geothermal power plant rate of each geothermal power plants that have been operating in Indonesia in units of lbs/kw-h. This calculation will using methode from K.K. Bloomfield dan J.N. Moore. Untill now, there is never been calculates the level of emissions from geothermal power plants that have been operating in Indonesia. Indonesia itself has a threshold rules on emissions from geothermal power plants. However, this regulation emission of geothermal power plants are in units mg/Nm3 |
