| Abstract | Dieng geothermal field has proven reserve with very promising proposition, but in fact, since back in continuous operation on 2002, power generation tends to be not stable and has a relatively rapid decline. Several technical methods have been done that systematically use to increase the production capacity of this field. Begin with a general assessment to map the problem and find alternative solutions, then realize the technical constraints of the solution in terms of production wells productivity, steam production process, brine injection scheme and plant performance & reliability. The series of these methods has resulted in increased average power production of 10 MW to 52 MW by the end of the project on 2013. |
