Abstract Dieng Plateau Geothermal Area has 15.7 km2 areas (GeothermEx Report, 1998). It has a total of 47 wells with 16 production wells and 8 injection wells. The number of wells is dedicated to Unit 1. Other wells shut-in condition and some of abondon wells in variety of reasons. The injection system has been a crucial part in determining the achievement of production of electricity besides steam field management and performance of the power plant. Then the brine injection system must be taken seriously. This is related to fluids characteristic of Dieng Area which has fraction 30%-40% of steam and 60%-70% of water. Location of injection wells spread to northern area and southern area. The northern area of the Sileri prospect, there are 4 production wells that have contributed approximately 20 MW and 2 injection wells that are used to receive brine from 4 production wells with the longest distance 3.5 km. The specific steam consumption (SSC) is assumed to 7 tons / MW, meaning that the brine will contribute around 10.5 to 16 tons / MW. If production well is 20 MWh, it will produce 210-326 tons / hour of brine. To distribute brine from the separator to injection wells needed facilities such as pond, pumps and pipelines until the brine can be injected through injection wells. A system have been made to handle process reinjection brine that is named Brine Management System. In this paper will be discuss on 3 alterenatif solution for Brine Management System that consist of assesment of brine, performance of the pump, pipeline capacity, the ability of injection wells itself and then the operations and finance feasibility to achieve the optimum production of power plant.
