| Abstract | To develop polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bits of the full-face type which can be applied to downhole motor drilling, drilling tests for granite and two types of andesite were conducted using bits with 98.43and 142.88 mm diameters. The bits successfullydrilled these types of rock at rotary speeds from 300to 400 rpm. |
