| Abstract | This paper continues preliminary investigation as begun in Smith & McKibbin (1997). The conservation equations and boundary conditions describing the flow in a hydrothermal eruption are outlined. Methods for solving the system of equations are then investigated for the simpler isothermal case. Results are given for three different geometrical configurations,and, in each case, the flow is quantified. |
