From 1970' s, Chinese government increased investment on development of geothermal resource and other new energy, and some experimental geothermal power stations have been buat successively. In the late 1980's, exploration of high temperature geothermal resource was increased. Geothermal fluid with temperature over 200 degC was got in several boreholes. In ZK4002 well, Yangbajing, the temperature is even as high as 329 degC. Prospecting 2010, several geothermal power plants with high temperature and great capacity will be built, so that great advance will be made on the development of geothermal in China. |
