| Abstract | Jiyang Depression is located in northeast of Shandong province. It belongd to a petroliferous basin in the hydrocarbone-bearing Bohai Bay. This is a rift type Meso-Cenozoic lake basin. It consists of four depressions of Dongying, Zhanhua, Chezhen and Huimin and a Chenjiazhuang uplift, covering an area of 8,640 km2. It is a part of the Yellow River delta geographically. |
