| Abstract | In this study, the current status of district heating potential of some geothermal fields in Turkey is reported. The potential of low to middle enthalpy geothermal fields used for district heating purposes is estimated. Volumetric reserve estimation methodology which was introduced by the USGS is implemented for this task. A stochastic approach using the Monte Carlo simulation technique is applied to account for the uncertainties in some input parameters. Potential estimations of those fields are obtained and the results are reported. |
