| Abstract | The distribution of permeability within geothermal fields is generally lognormal. Using distributions from field data, it is possible to determine expected results of drilling, and expected well performance. Using a decision tree of possible actions (drill/accept/sidetrack), drilling costs, and measurements of well injectivity, decision criteria based on injectivity are defined. |
