Abstract The processes of boric acid and lithium extraction using model and technogenic solutions modified by zeolites were investigated. The modification was made with aluminum hydrate, hydrochloric hydroxylamine, or urotropine. It is obvious that zeolite modified Al(OH)3 performs selectively towards ions of lithium. Zeolites modified by hydrochloric hydroxylamine or urotropine can be used for sorption of boric acid from natural and technogenic solutions.
