Abstract Western Anatolia is under extensional tectonic regime resulting graben and horst system bounded by active faults along which earth crust is thin and there are many thermal springs. The area has been suffering from strong earthquakes for ages along the active fault zones. In order to collect some data associated with the changes within the crust and the earthquakes, some multi-parameter data recording stations were established within the active fault zones where there are thermal water springs in Büyük Menderes and Denizli grabens. These locations are Aydın-Germencik Alangüllü geothermal area, Denizli-Sarayköy-Tekkehamam geothermal area and Denizli-Pamukkale-Çukurbağ geothermal area. In these locations, multi-parameter data measuring system has been established. The measured parameters are; electric potential changes (voltage recording) (VR), temperature recording of thermal waters (TR) and acoustic emission recording station (AE). The data collection interval changes between one minute and 10 minutes. It has been experienced that there is a relation between earthquake activity of the region and temperature and gas bubbling numbers of thermal spring waters and also electric potential of the ground.
