Abstract The Koseto multi-parameter station is situated between Itoigawa-Shizuoka Tectonic Line (ISTL) and Sasayama Tectonic Line (STL) in Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, where. four plate boundaries exist. The prefecture may experience the anticipated Tokai earthquake in near future. The authors have continuously been measuring variations of hot-spring temperature, temperature and pressure of air, electrical field, pH, electrical resistivity and acoustic emissions as a part of their multi-parameter monitoring system. This article describes the responses of multi-parameters measured at this station during large earthquakes since 2003 and its implications in earthquake-predictions. The results indicated that there are distinct relations between measured parameters at the Koseto station and large earthquakes.
