| Abstract | The development of geothermal resources consists mainly the drilling of geothermal wells at various depths so that geothermal energy in the form of underground water as carrier could be brought onto the ground surface, which would have a high drilling cost and have huge geological risks. However, in the processs of exploring and developing oil fields, thousands abandoned oil wells have been left over ,and by technical transformation there will be good possibilities for these shut-down oil wells to be turned into geothermal wells ,which would be of significant economic value. This transformation is technically and economically feasible and will have a bright perspective in terms of application. |
