| Abstract | The article mainly introduces regional geology, geothermal setting, geothermal resource and exploitation in Liangxiang area. Caused by tectonic movement, the Liangxiang symon fault was formed in the Liangxiang area, and geothermal resources mainly distribute around the symon fault. There are Quaternary, Tertiary, Cretaceous and Proterozoic strata in the area of Liangxiang. Based on geophysical and drilling data, the article describes the geothermal reservoir, and caprock, and discusses the relation between temperature of geothermal well and depth of reservoir in the area. The area with geothermal resource is 388km2 around Liangxiang, in which 68km2 has been explored. The amount of the geothermal sterase is calculated as 1602.54¥1010KJ. An area of 20.5km2 is called the Liangxiang Geothermal Field. Up to now, there are 20 geothermal wells in the area. They basically distribute in the Liangxiang Geothermal Field. It is suggested that the area beyond Liangxiang Geothermal Field be exploited in the future, especially to the northwest and southeast of Liangxiang Town. In that area, it is possible to get geothermal water of higher temperature. |
