| Abstract | The City of Xinji, about 70km east of shijiazhuang, is rich with low temperature geothermal. The geothermal reservoir is made of the sandstone of Tertiary System. A few geothermal wells with rather good production capacity have been drilled in the city. The geothermal water from the well is a little more than 60?, and the salinity of the water is 1422~2526mg/l. The geothermal can be used for space heating in the city. Economical analysis shows that the geothermal development will have remarkable economical effect. In this paper, integrated analysis and research are given as regards the regional geological outline, structural features, stratigraphic characteristics, features of geotemperature field, geothermal reservoir characteristics, etc. making use of the data and information obtained from both petroleum geological exploration carried out in the City of Xinji and those from the already-drilled geothermal boreholes in the city proper . |
