| Abstract | In this paper the land uses in and around New Zealand’s geothermal power plant developments are discussed. The effects of the development on land use are also addressed. In some cases the development of the geothermal resources has enhanced the activities such as tourism near the developments; however, in other cases developments have had limiting effects. |
