Beiyuan Homeland is a residential area about 1000m east of the Olimpic Park for the 2008 Olimpic Games in Beijing. A part of the building with a 400,000m2 floor area is planned to use geothermal for heat supply. Totally 6 wells are planned for the heating system, 3 for production, 2 for reinjection, and a stand-by well. The temperature of the geothermal water in the area is averagely 68?, and the production capacity of the geothermal wells is around 2000m3/d. A system of typical cascaded use was designed for the space heating and domestic hot water supply. The system includes 3 parts. The first part uses geothermal water to heat the circulating water in the heating system through a heat exchanger, and a boiler burning gas is to be used for the peak load in the coldest days in the winter. In the second part, the geothermal water from the first part of the system is to be used, incorporating heat pumps, for space heating, and a boiler is also to be used for the peak load. In the last part of the system, the tail water from the heating system is to be used as domestic hot water to each househood. Two kinds of tail end is to be implemented in the space heating system, radiators and floor radiation system. The design of the system is in its stage of optimization. In this paper, the designing of the heat supply system for the residential area is to be introduced, and energy consumption of the system is estimated. And the environmental effects of the geothermal heating system is alanalyzed. |
