| Abstract | The presented paper presents an approach for regional assessment of geothermal potential in a case study in western Bohemian Massif. Beside geological description, methods for analysis of positive and negative geofactors for geothermal energy are presented. General criteria for utilization of heat pumps are summarized. Implications of the general approach lead to quantiufication of geothermal potential in the Sokolov Basin. |
