| Abstract | An interdisciplinary group of researchers at the University of Arizona will conduct preliminary research on the recovery of metals from geothermal brines. The projects include a new hydrometallurgical process, collection of geochemical and geological data that will aid in characterization of the metal resource potential of geothermal systems, a neural network analysis of data to predict production variables, and an analysis of scaling factors that might inhibit production. |
