Russia lias large resources of located at Kurile Islands, Stavropol Region, and Balkaria. Over last five years a production of equipment for electric and heat geothermal power plants begun Russia. beginning of 1993 the 500 pilot power-generating module was put operation at Island. Now Russian enterprises steam production equipment (separators, well valves, etc.), turbine-generators for 0.5. 1.7, 2.5, 4.0, 12.0. and 23.0 MW electric geothermal modules (witli electric part) up to 20 MW heat modular geotheriiial power plants.
