| Abstract | A clamped seismic receiver capable of being clamped into and removed from a borehole is being developed. An Extensive development programme with the emphasis being on producing high quality, large bandwidth (resonance free) data has produced unexpected results and greatly improved the understanding of the dynamic problems associated with such devices. The developments described are aimed at producing a clamped tool capable of producing 1 bandwidth data in a 140 environment. |
