| Abstract | This paper examines electrical planning required for successful geothermal electrical power generation projects. The importance of examining the impact of a proposed new generator connection on the operational performance of the existing electrical power system is outlined. Also discussed are electrical engineering design problems that can be encountered and solutions that have been used to enable operation in a geothermal environment. |
