| Abstract | Optimising (maximising) the spacing of the supports on geothermal two phase, steam and water pipelines will produce construction cost savings. Equations for calculating the maximum span for design code ASME B31.1 and continuous pipelines are given. A method for optimising the pipe spans on a typical geothermal pipeline expansion loop is described. |
