| Abstract | As part of new tools in monitoring reservoir processes, the degree of steady state between production and Rl wells is evaluated in Palinpinon 1, SNGPF. This was evaluated from the ratio of heatflow Pil between extraction and injection. The primary assumption in this model is the existence of liquid-saturated aquifers connecting these wells. Given a similar time frame, steady-state is defined as the state where ratio of heat-flow is unity. This is determined by plotting cDp against injection flow until it approaches unity. The injection flow at unity is then defined as the injection flow restorative of steady state. The results of evaluation were then compared to the existing preferred injection flow in the field. The comparison revealed significant differences. If is likely that adjustment has to be made in the current injection load to fully re-attain the steady-state of Palinpinon 1 reservoir. |
