Abstract The Lindal diagram is a great tool to show how geothermal fluids may be used in a variety of ways depending on the temperature of the geothermal resource. There are various variations available, each with a diverse set of well-known uses that are not limited to a certain climate, market, or country. Engineers, other experts, and developers from other fields are not always completely aware of how geothermal energy may be used and how it can be used to replace processes that require heat. This gap is addressed by the Central America version of the Lindal diagram provided here. The Lindal diagram has been revised in this study to exclude any possible applications that do not apply to Central American situations while adding those that do. This will be accomplished by doing a market analysis and assessing Central America's climatic conditions. This study can be utilized as a model for tropical climates and countries with similar markets.
