| Abstract |
The development and utilization of clean energy is a resource and environmental issue of common concern for global sustainable development. As an important fungible strategy clean energy, the Hot Dry Rock(HDR for short)development and utilization received a lot of attention. Since 2010, China Geological Survey of the Ministry of Natural Resources has organized and implemented the investigation, evaluation, exploration and development of HDR in the national land area, and made important achievements. A series of basic maps of China's terrestrial heat flow value, Curie depth, acid rock mass distribution and thermal control structures have been drawn, the HDR resource potential in China's land area has been preliminarily estimated, which provides data for the HDR site selection. The investigation and evaluation of HDR in typical areas such as Qinghai, Shandong, Hebei, Shanxi and Jiangsu have been carried out, among which the HDR exploration in Gonghe basin of Qinghai has achieved a major breakthrough. The China's first HDR exploration and production project was constructed in Gonghe, Qinghai, and a series of achievements have been made in deep exploration of HDR, high-temperature hard rocks drilling, large-scale reservoir construction, circular connection, Organic Rankine Cycle power generation, etc .China will continue to promote the construction of the demonstration project, strengthen the exploration and development of HDR in the eastern region, actively promote the industrialization of HDR exploration and development, and fully support the national peak carbon emission and carbon neutralization strategy. |
