| Abstract | The East Mesa area is located on the east side of the Imperial Valley approximately seven miles southeast of Holtville and 110 miles east of the San Diego metropolitan area. This area presently contains ten deep geothermal wells, five of which have been drilled by the Bureau of Reclamation, three by Republic Geothermal and two by Magma Power Company. Four older, abandoned deep holes are also in the general area. |
