Abstract The paper presents of a study of the model of the geothermal reservoir Gilondi (Tajikistan, South Pamir), built on the basis of a stochastic fractal (Perlin noise). In particular, a new concept of porous space and its implementation on the example of a model for this reservoir are presented. Issues of estimating porosity parameters and mechanisms for segmenting regions of porous media are studied. It is shown that the fractal linear and volume dimensions of virtual matrices and real porous media are preserved for any slice scales and fractal grid sizes. The fractal dimensions depends on the binary filtering parameter.
