| Abstract | It is a common practice to assume an adiabatic process through the entire well because of the frequent lack of data required in a formal wellbore simulation. The target of this research is to show and quantify the possible inaccuracies get by this practice. We present a real example of a well which is distinguished for its low gas and TDS contents. The problem is analyzed by a non-commercial package of geothermal tools that includes a wellbore simulator. |
