| Abstract |
Using actual data from geothermal two-phase line tracer flow test measurements, slip ratios and flow qualities were correlated to the steam qualities and discharge enthalpies of the wells using different void fraction and drift flux correlations. The evaluation showed direct correlation between total discharge enthalpy/or flow quality to that of calculated void fraction. This correlation can lead to direct measurement of well discharge enthalpies based on void fraction determination (i.e. using gamma ray technique, electrical capacitance tomography, ultrasonics, etc). |
