| Abstract | A fully implicit numerical model, which describes the permeability decrease caused by the silica deposition in porous medium, has been formulated and applied to simulate the filed data. The rate constants of silica deposition used in calculations were based on the Steefel and Lasaga, Tester et al., and Carroll et al. correlations. A reasonable match was obtained between the measured and calculated dimensionless permeability and water levels. |
