| Abstract |
Mills (1984) and Hattersley (1984) presented economic analysis on the downhole separation of non-condensable gases using the vertical flow centrifugal separator (VFCS). The analysis was based on a hypothetical 50 >We power plant using Ngawha (New Zealand) geofluids, and made use of the preliminary experimental data on the performance of the VFCS reported by Grant-Taylor and Kanyua (1984a). The present paper comments on some of the technical data and conclusions arrived at by Mills (1984). |
