| Abstract | A method of optimizing thermal performance of geothermal reservoir has been proposed. The workflow is developed by initially estimating surface area inside the reservoir by using tracer testing results and short period well-logging results in production well. Based on known surface area, we can estimate the temperature drops at production well by changing controlled parameter such as flow rates and temperature at injection well. While, a geothermal power plant is expected to be sustainable for at least 30 years of production. By using our proposed method, we can achieve a good accuracy of thermal breakdown estimation based on 7.5 years of well-logging data. Assumptions used, and limitations of the method are discussed. |
