| Abstract |
A reliable pressure and temperature tool has been developed for use in geothermal wells. The use of downhole electronics and signal processing techniques have enabled the use of mono-conductor cable while providing simultaneous readings of pressure and temperature. A vacuum flask provides both temperature and pressure protection for the electronics at over and 400 bars. Component count has been minimised so that the tool diameter can be reduced such that the tool can be run in tubing necessary. |
