| Abstract | A simple experiment was set up in the Dieng Geothermal Field, Indonesia, to evaluate the possibility of using NaOH solution to reduce the amount of gas released into the atmosphere, during bleeding of a geothermal well. This paper describes the details of the experiment, which was conducted at Well Preliminary results indicated that a solution containing 12 to 15 8 wt NaOH is suitable for this purpose. |
