| Abstract | It is a pleasure to address the geothermal reservoir engineering community tonight. Although I will not be able to attend all of the technical sessions, I am pleased to discuss the issues with which I am most familiar -- the Department of Energy's overall energy policy, the role of alternative energy resources within the policy framework, and, specifically, our expectations for geothermal energy. |
