| Abstract |
Geothermal energy in Indonesia gives opportunities provision and use of environmentally friendly energy. The utilization of geothermal energy in the Indonesians will not be separated from the acquisition, implementation, and development of geothermal technology. Such activities generally involves three basic elements, there is exploration, exploitation and conversion of power generation systems. The application of geothermal technology today get some problems, especially in the low-success ratio in getting productive wells with high enthalpy. In this paper will be reviewed opportunities, activities, and obstacles encountered in geothermal activity.Geothermal activities will be successful when done with the application of technology and science multidisciplinary approach involving the role of government in terms of policy making . |
