| Abstract | Indonesia has potential geothermal energy is very large about 28 GWe, initial explore was still needs and utilized to meet the energy needs of the nation. The existence of these geothermal systems have various characteristic geothermal. In the study of microbiology known a colony of bacteria that live only in extreme temperatures around 900C to 1130C crater as hiperthermofil bacteria. For this study aims to analyze the presence of bacteria hyperthermofil of the genus Thermus, that if developed further as help to give some information could potentially geothermal manifestations in the geothermal fluid circulation system due to the nature of this genus of bacteria will live in a fluid circulation. The method used in this study is the observation method in Kamojang Garut craters, we were take 3 point sample from different creater. The procedure is the work done inoculation samples of water and mud that must be done directly in the field due to character Thermofil in a Na medium, then the sample was optimized in the laboratory to obtain bacteria isolates from his hiperthermofil. Her results obtained from the bacterium Thermus aquaticus species. By living in the habitat temperatures of 100, 103, and 98 of each crater. This proves that the flow of water in the crater Kamojang can carry three types of bacteria of the same species, it can be identified that all three craters are located within the same thermal fluid circulation. |
