Abstract Banda Baru geothermal area is located in Amahai district, central Maluku, Maluku Province. Banda Baru area exhibit geothermal prospect, indicated by geology and geochemical investigation which found manifestations such as hot springs with temperature around 60-68¢ªC. Futher research has been done using gravity method to delineate the subsurface structures that control the geothermal system. In this study, we have carried out gravity survey with 253 points of measurement and made correction of the data to obtain Bouguer anomaly. We separate the Bouguer anomaly into two parts, the regional and the residual gravity, by using Buttherworth filter. The residual gravity data were then analyzed using integrated gradient interpretation techniques, such as the Euler deconvolution, and Second Vertical Derivative (SVD). These techniques detected many faults, faults type and depth prediction of the fault. The results of present study will lead to improved understanding of the geological structure near the manifestations around Banda Baru geothermal prospect, especially kinds of faults and depth prediction of the fault.
