Abstract During the most recent circulating flow test of the Fenton Hill Hot Dry Rock (HDR) geothermal reservoir, the geochemical behavior of the produced fluid was monitored continuously to determine t i l - L m c w t ration s of dissolved anions and cations and dissolved gases. Chemistry results ëlave aided in the developnent of reservoir models and in the determination of potential chemist ry-re1 at?d operation problems such as corrosion and handling in future energy extraction tes!: Results of two radioactive tracer experiments sug!?st flow through a large, highly - fractured region of rock. This rock volume is equival e n t to a sphere of diameter approximately equal to the separation distance between the injection and production points in the two wells.
