One of the k e y problems in geothermal field management I s to determine how many wells will be needed, and when I n the project I i f e t l m e the new we1 is will come o n - line. T o make this determination requires an estimate of the field depletion. Methods used for approximating the field behavior are discussed, and examples are provided using data from some I l q u l d - dominated reservoirs in the U.S. and a broad. The calculated decline curves are compared to a few cases for which field production data is available . |
