| Abstract |
The Reshuiwei (Rucheng) Geothermal System was simulated numerically using the MULKOM program. Owing to the complexity of the geological Setting, which is controlled by the permeability structure, the simulationwas started using 2-Dand 3-Dmodels of the natural steady state,followed by a simulationmodel for prediction of developments. The Reshuiwei (Rucheng) Geothermal System was simulated numerically using an extended model based on that of the Reshuiwei (Rucheng)GeothermalReservoir (Chen, 1990). The simulation attempts go a step in demonstratinghow to form and evolve this kind of geothermal model of a reservoir with specially appointed geological conditions fiom a macroscopic point of view. In addition, the paper recounts the simulation processes of setting up and modifying the model. The 3-D numerical natural steady-state simulation model was successfully obtained. It gave a good match to the previous simulationof Reshuiwei (Rucheng)GeothermalReservoir and revealed the contributing factorsof the system. |
