Abstract DOMERAPI Project is an international research collaboration between Indonesian and French teams. This project focus on Merapi, the most active volcano in Indonesia through study on volcano monitoring, experimental petrology, physical volcanology, geophysical structure imaging, and numerical modelling of magmatic processes. For the seismic monitoring in Merapi volcano, we have been deploying 46 seismometers station since September 2013 for about one year lead to one of the most dense seismic networks in the world for volcano active monitoring. We attempt to understand deep magmatic processes beneath Merapi volcano by analyzing subsurface seismic velocities. We have been conducting seismcity analysis data including event identification, volcano-tectonic hypocenter determination, and determining initial 1-D seismic velocities model. Finally, we will conduct seismic veocities subsurface imaging by appling travel time seismic tomographic inversion, ambient noise tomography, and attenuation seismic tomography. We will show our preliminary results during the meeting in more details.
