| Abstract | Pamukören Geothermal Field of Çelikler Holding Company located at Middle section of Büyük Menderes Graben. It is a hidden geothermal system with not any surface manifestations. With 1 or 2 spare, 10 production and 7 re-injection wells have been drilled to supply and reinject the needed approximately 2900 t/h flow for already installed 45 GPP. The production wells with 178-191 oC ranging bottom hole temperature were drilled on the N-S intersection of northern Flank E-W directional Menderes Graben Fault , while the reinjection wells are located downs stream of the catchment area to avoid possible early interference among production and reinjection wells. By applying this strategy, even production wells indirectly enhanced, not any negative interference has been experienced in at least 3 Months time continuing exploitation and reinjection. The beginning capacities of the reinjection wells have almost increased to folds as a result of acidizing each well with 30 ton 28,5 % HCl. The counter pressure of the reinjection wells declined 3-4 bars while production wells production pressure increased 1-3 bars respectively for the same amount of reinjection and production capacities after stimulations. In this paper the production-reinjection managements and the applied improvement studies for sustainability of the wells without interference will be discussed. |
