Abstract Abstract Well Sendangan-3 has been spud-in since February 2009 and completed on April 2009. This well is a directional well with Big Hole configuration consists of four different types of casing, specifically 20”, 13-3/8” (production casing), 10-3/4” and 8-5/8” (perforated liner). This well is dedicated as production well. Prior to production well testing using Lip Pressure method, the vertical discharge from the well showed a significant decline rate in which indicated a reduction of hole-diameter (production casing collapse). In order to maintain the steam availability at the wellhead, remedial well has been conducted by changing the size of production casing into smaller size. This paper emphasizes on the importance of remedial well by comparing well potency before and after the remedial. This includes the wellbore simulation as if the collapsed casing never existed.
