Abstract Miechowska Trough is the part of the Mid-Polish Troughs system in Permian and Mesozoic formations. Cenomanian aquifer (upper Cretaceousis) is a specific structure consisted of sands and sandstones. There are in this aquifer a good hydrogeological parameters. Cenomanian aquifer is a widely spreading structure with a huge groundwater resources. Moreover, there are an area when groundwater in Cenomanian aquifer have a specific properties because of hydrogen sulphide. This groundwater is generally recognize as therapeutic groundwater. Temperature of groundwater in Cenomanian aquifer achieve about 20-30 C in some places within Miechowska Trough. According to Polish law that kind of groundwater consider as geothermal water. The main goal of research in Miechowska Trough is comprehensive analysis of Cenomanian structure and creating model of circulation water conditions and groundwater recharge. Cenomanian groundwater is not fresh water spring but there is a well mineralization water. There is a reason why the model of groundwater filtration should be personalized to this conditions. There is a necessary to use application of regional model for Cenomanian aquifer due to Miechowska Trough is a large structure (about 5000 km2). A result of this research and numeric model will be determinate prospective area of geothermal groundwater. It will be the first step to create a mass transport and heat transfer model for prospective exploration of geothermal water.
