| Abstract | Because of its popularity as a food source, there is a great demand for cultured turtles in China. Our tests have shown that optimum production can be achieved by using geothermal water in ponds maintaining a controlled temperature of throughout the whole year. Other parameters that determine weight gain and optimum hatching are also discussed, together with an economic of turtle farming. |
